Event Description



Early Check-in and Registration, Guest Services

We invite visiting attendees accommodated at two of the three Symposium hotels to check-in in advance and obtain Symposium materials at the Brisbane Marriott (Queen Adelaide One Room – Third Floor) and Hotel Jen (Roma Room – Ground Floor).  Early check-in is available between 8 and 4.

If you are unable to check-in and obtain materials during these times, materials can be obtained at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Center beginning at 4:30pm.

Brisbane River Cruise & Luncheon Aboard the Kookaburra Queen

The iconic Kookaburra Queen is a fully restored paddle wheeler scheduled for a cruising journey to view Brisbane’s best sights including the beautiful Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, Maritime Museum, Southbank precinct, the Story Bridge and many more of the city’s sensational attractions. This scenic 2-hour day cruise on the Brisbane River, includes a three-course lunch and live commentary.

Shuttles depart from hotels at 10:00am.  Attendees not accommodated at the Symposium hotels or local attendess are responsible for own transportation to/from Brisbane River pier.  Specific embarkation/disembarkation locations to be announced with parking information (local guests).
